The YWCA of Greater Portland is pleased to present the 20th Annual YWCA Inspire Luncheon. This fundraising event will enable the safety, opportunity and independence of women and families in our community by supporting our three core program areas; domestic violence services, senior services and outdoor youth programs, via Camp Westwind.
Last year the YWCA served over 11,570 families in the Portland metropolitan area. Join us, so that we can continue to stand with women and families in their journey to live safely and independently.

The YWCA is delighted to welcome award-winning journalist Michele Norris as our keynote speaker. Michele served as the co-host of National Public Radio's (NPR) flagship program All Things Considered.
In her first book The Grace of Silence: A Memoir, Michele focuses on how America talks about race in the wake of the Obama presidential election and explores her own family's racial legacy. Although she set out to write a book about “the hidden conversation” on race that is unfolding nationwide she was forced to confront the fact that the conversation in her own family had not been forthright.
