mac supports survivors of domestic violence

On Friday, December 14, 2012 our Executive Director Leslie Bevan and Domestic Violence Services Program Manager Trisha Martin were deeply touched by the generosity and support of the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC), who donated toys, hygiene products and over $1,200 in cash towards our domestic violence program.

The Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC) a private nonprofit athletic and social club that is located in downtown Portland and has a long history of athletic excellence. With more than a century of tradition in athletic, social and educational programs, MAC has a strong connection to the community and gives back through a variety of outreach activities, event sponsorships, grants and sports scholarships.

MAC has been supporting the YWCA for many years now, and we are deeply appreciative of their generosity in helping bring some sunshine into the lives of those affected by domestic violence. Thank you!
